Why I Decided to Buy Home Made Power Plant

I had financial problems because of a failed stock investment, and I was searching for a way to save on everything, starting with electrical energy. In fact, I have many home appliances including the dishwasher, the washing machine and a personal computer that cost me nearly $350 every month.

So I went online, surfing the web for any information on saving on electricity bills and I found this manual ( Home Made Power Plant ) explaining how to save up to 80% on electricity bills utilizing solar panels.

I decided to gave a look at it and I bought the manual.

What is it about

Frank Patrick, the creator of Home Made Power Plant, said that those bonus were available just the day of my order, but they are still now available, so no need to worry about that: I think they will be available for many months.

I took one and a half day to build the solar panel following the Home Made Solar Plant's plan. It wasn't such easy to build, but it wasn't difficult. Well, think that I'm an alternative energy researcher, a scientist, not an engineer! However, after less than 2 days, I was able to make my solar panel work.

My personal opinion
Now, at the time of writing, my solar panel has been working for more than one month and it saved me about 135 dollars in electricity this month. To be really honest, I did not save 80% this month, as the Home Made Power Plant's website says, but something more like 55%.

I think that the product is worth its cost, because with the little investment of less than 50 dollars, I was able to save more than 130 $ just the first month. 130 dollars a month aren't big bucks, but you must remember that you will save more or less these figures not just the first month after the installation, but for all the following years to come.

Emilie Barnes was the author of 60 books at the time this was written. Creative Home Organizer explores the many aspects of managing a home. Her books are always organized and concise, which makes for easy reading and reference.

The chapters are broken up into bullet-points with loads of helpful hints, checklists, ideas, and suggestions. Each chapter begins with a pertinent scripture, and there are many inspirational quotes throughout to encourage you as you read and implement the ideas.

Here are a few tips from some of the chapters.

1. Organizing

Emilie believes that being a homemaker, full or part time, is the greatest profession in the world. To be successful at this honorable position, you need to be organized in your home and in your life. Tackling housework in only 15 minutes a day will yield very effective results in a short amount of time. Taking small steps keeps you from feeling overwhelmed by your tasks.

Give yourself time to change your old habits. She reminds us of the 21-day rule of breaking an old habit or starting a new one. She also advises us to make lists, set goals, and plan for success.

2. Food Preparation

Preparing and cooking nutritious meals is an act of love for our family. Families who eat together have better nutrition. Family mealtimes can foster closeness, warmth, and communication with our husbands and children.

Emilie has many tips for cooking, shopping frugally, using leftovers, and much more in this chapter.

3. The Kitchen

The kitchen is often referred to as the heart of the home, and should be an enjoyable place. In order to make it a pleasant place to work in, we need it to be organized, clean, and have the proper tools. If it is pleasant to work in, we will be more motivated to spend time there making delicious meals and having fellowship with our family members.

4. Storage

A neat idea mentioned here is to give away one item every day. She suggests many different types of organizers and storage systems.

5. Cleaning

"Don't put it down, put it away." This chapter includes cleaning supply lists, homemade cleaners, and cleaning checklists for daily, weekly, monthly, and so on.

6. The Garage

Start the massive garage cleaning job with three garbage bags labeled "put away, throw away, and give away." Get your family together to plan and make a list of things that need to be done.

7. The Laundry

Laundry is easier when your equipment is close by, and it is one job that can be delegated to all family members who are old enough to help. She gives advice on stain removal, bleaching, dryer safety, and hard water.

8. The Automobile

"Plan, plan, plan!" If we don't plan regular automobile care, we can run into trouble. She gives maintenance checklists, emergency organization lists, travel supplies, and more.

9. Finances

"We earn little by little, and we save little by little." Having a proper attitude towards money helps us to have control over it. We don't want to be slaves to money, or to creditors. She has tips on saving, debt reduction, and managing money.

10. Time Savings

"Time management is not just keeping busy, but is finding God's focus for you - choosing a direction and moving ahead to accomplish your goals." Managing your time takes planning and effort. To be good time managers we must set goals, and plan the steps to reach those goals.

11. Raising Children

We should strive to raise children who are godly, responsible, know how to solve problems, and do not make excuses as to why they can't perform a task. We need to be committed to spending the time and effort to bring our children up well. Recognize and take advantage of opportunities to teach them about God.

The remaining chapters cover the topics of good health, sewing and crafts, gardening, beauty, moving, wardrobe, and safety.

I think that women of any age can learn new ideas and gain encouragement from this uplifting book. Whether you are just starting on your journey of keeping house, or are a grandmother with years of experience, there will be something for you here. It is quick to read, but you probably won't sit and read through from beginning to end. This book includes 82 of the most ornamental herbs for the avid herbal gardener. The author, Jo Ann Gardner, is an avid gardener and lover of flowers and herbs and this comes through very clearly in her writing of her experiences in her own gardening. The book is well laid-out and easy to read full of illustrations, photographs and crammed full of information geared toward starting a functional and beautiful herbal garden.

The introductory chapters give great information on how to grow, sow, propagate and maintain either seeds or seedlings. Included is another chapter on landscaping ideas to help the reader to layout and design the herbal garden before even getting started.

Each section includes a nice overview and history of the plant, the plant family and specifics needed for propagation including: soil, sun, zones, size, and seasons. Review of Anastasia (You're Gonna Like This)

Good afternoon folks.

It is hard to know where to begin with Anastasia. The book is a very fun read, but the central question throughout is: Is Anastasia real?

The Ringing Cedars series consists of nine books written by a Russian businessman. The series documents his encounters with a very unique and gifted girl in a remote forested area of Russia. What the businessman, Vladimir Megre, discovers is that the stunningly beautiful Anastasia was raised in the woods, and is able to communicate with and issue orders to animals, and this is only the beginning.

Anastasia is exceptionally intelligent, and despite having been raised in such an isolated Siberian location, has very informed and thoughtful opinions on our modern world. In addition to being a stone cold fox, Anastasia does not not wear clothes very much, and never sits down to eat proper meals, but snacks throughout the day on berries or nuts brought to her by her animal minions.

Strange? Yes. Unbelievable? Maybe, but I don't really care. What I care about most is if there is any usable information in the book that can contribute to a more sustainable human species.

Now I have to admit something here. I have always been drawn to the strange and fantastical stories. I love how these stories stretch your horizons and ask you go against the grain of common wisdom. Frankly common wisdom is too common sometimes. As I have gotten older my attraction to stories like this for entertainment's sake has not diminished, but I have seen weird before. I have been there and done that. What I want to know is what I can take away from it. The translator describes the series as a cross between Star Wars and the Bible, so what are the profound nuggets we can take away from The Word According To Yoda?

I believe there are many. More than anything else Anastasia shows us what we can become once we free ourselves from ourselves. I am fully convinced that this planet is the insane asylum of the galaxy, and the doctors have pretty much let the patients run wild to cure themselves, or not. As a species we are struggling with all of our might to do it, but we still think it is an acceptable plan to get dressed in funny green outfits and go and kill total strangers. We still allow our dreams to die inside of us while we work in boring jobs in boring corporations because everyone else is doing the same thing. If anything Anastasia's story highlights these facts by sheer contrast.

It may be stretch to think that going to the nearest forest, shucking your clothes and engaging in a telepathic conversation with the first squirrel you see is a recipe of happiness for most of us, but I do not think that is the moral of this story.

We live on a living being, Earth, who has provided us with everything we have. Everything. This incredible planet has sublime and breathtaking life systems we are only beginning to comprehend. Our technological gizmos are toys by comparison. When our creativity and inventiveness work in line with these systems, we touch infinity, but when we ignore nature we tend to run into a few snags, like for instance being strapped to a dirty, messy, polluting, inefficient, antiquated energy delivery system, or cataclysmic wars to control aforementioned antiquated energy system. (i.e. World War I, World War II, The Gulf War, the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan, ad nauseum...).

This book was written in Russian, and has inspired millions of Russians to to leave the city and establish eco-villages in the Motherland's vast hinterland. Small, private gardens account for 54% of that nation's agricultural output, and this is on 7% of the total land used for agricultural purposes. Food independence is extremely efficient and very possible, and as I stated in my square foot gardening review, I think it is the greenest thing you can do.

One of the more interesting passages relays that seeds can be charged to restore health and taste fantastic to a particular human if that human places the seeds in his mouth for at least nine minutes. I do not know if this has any validity, but I will in a few months. I planted my veggies yesterday, and darned if I didn't give every one of those seeds a saliva soaking. Like I said before, I don't care if it's weird. I just care if it works.

The mystery of whether Anastasia is real or not enhances the allure of the book, but it is ultimately an aside. As fact or fiction, Anastasia is a valid and timely call for all of us to detach ourselves from the corporate teat, reconnect with the rhythms of nature and enjoy self sufficiency.
